One With The Birds by Penda

The Chinese architecture firm created the temporary treehouse “One With The Birds” to be a mockup hotel. It is a flexible and sustainable structure that reinvents the tent by integrating sleeping pods into the canopy of the trees. These pods were inspired by Native American Tipis, to be moveable and reusable. They are made with bamboo sticks harnessed together by ropes to minimize the environmental footprint & impact to the forest site. Additionally preventing damage to the bamboo.
