The Blood House
Recently Architect Jack Munro has proposed that a new sustainable & eco-friendly material be the wave of the future: Animal Blood. To be precise cow blood after slaughter. A single cow can produce up to 8 gallons of waste material after its been slaughtered. Munro proposed that Blood Bricks, created by mixing sand & heating @ 160 degrees, provide a new form of construction material. It's plausible. And furthermore Munro has imagined that these bricks be used in Middle Eastern climate. Due to the dry temperatures and use of mud bricks, the transition would be effective.
Munro even has proposed a concept structure to be constructed.
Would you live in a house made of blood bricks?
Barbie would.
Enjoy!
