W House by Slow Architecture

Located in Beijing this studio & residence was constructed by the renovation & expansion of a single-story building. The originating structure was brick and had a sloping roof. But removing the older style roof and then modifying the space to accommodate three stories the building gets a new life. The remodel utilized the original brick walls & added new wooden walls to the structure. (Via/Archdaily)
