"Who are you when you are not thinking yourself into existence? What is ultimately behind the set of eyes reading these words?" ~ Adyashanti
Good morning! Welcome... to the world we think into existence. What happens if we stop? What will be left?
What if you stop thinking of yourself? Would you persist to exist? Or is your being present merely because another continues to think you into existence? Are you the person or the alter ego?
This morning I'm certain being the alter ego won't let you off the hook anymore than being the person in charge. Neither will blaming someone for your existence.
Ah... people throw the most fun quotes out there. some help others, some are interesting, and some just piss other people off. Don't fool yourselves. Sometimes things that people say make us angry. If you're angry over something someone said. Stop thinking of yourself for a moment. Maybe it's not about you or me, or him or her, or they, them and we. It's that self-centered human nature to presume it is about us.
Conflict. Solution.
Anger on the other hand isn't always a bad thing. If some strangers words incite a fury in your belly to change. Go with the motivation. Creation of conflict for the purpose of change is better than pointless unharnessed rage.
Something about this quote reminds me of fight club. There are very few things in this world that do not remind me of people losing their minds and that lovely movie.
Books about movies. Movies about movies. And people who think they are in control. Unhappily. Thinking it doesn't make it true.
Tighten. Release. Breathe.
People.
Control.
They don't have all of it. No one does.
Who are you?
What is this?
Is it really morning cause we think it?
Good morning. And where do you like to go when you aren't thinking yourself into existence?
