20 Hour Day.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - Daft Punk

20 hour day. 5 days. Harder. Faster. Stronger? Better?? Honestly I don’t know. To each their own. It’s not how much time you have left it’s what you do with the time you have. Extra hours in a day are wasted if you aren’t using them properly. I’ve broken away from my max. cap of 18 hours for several days and enduring the physical pain of overexertion all for the sake of living fully. Even though my project is incomplete, the last three long days were worth it in every way. I was presented with opportunities to get out of the house and spend time with family and friends. Which I almost didn’t. Nearly talked myself out of it twice… but I reminded myself that very rarely does the chance come along. I’ve been complaining since January about not having a THING to do and here these things dropped right in my lap. So… INDULGE. The other day was spent running around everywhere and into quite a character. No comment. Yesterday I spent lunch in a tea garden and then Wondercon (mini Comic Con). If you don’t know what Comic Con is, use Google. It’s HUGE for comics, movies, and television. There I was able to see one of my oldest friends fulfill and start living his dream. Talent can only get you part of the way. It’s ALWAYS inspiring to see someone succeeding. Quite a few of the artists were very supportive and had nothing but encouraging words for him. Surprisingly I received some encouragement too. Sometimes it can come from oddest places. Great experience! Today after spending time with family I’m completely exhausted and giving in to recovery. I’ve hit a boundary that I always choose to believe impossible for me until it happens. Too tired to sleep. Been trying for hours. Best thing about it? This demonstrates that anything is possible. For the time being I’m resting the physical. The mind will catch up when it’s ready to. It’s been exactly one year since I’ve overdone it this badly. What can I say? Worth it! Every now and then I think you have to be completely exhausted to appreciate the optimal operating condition of your body.

The Room project?? I will start dropping stories and pics next week regardless if #5 is finished. Rooms #6, #7 & #8 are brain children. People have been so supportive. Thank you all for the feedback and suggestions. The Room Project is a personal challenge; truly an exercise in my own abilities to pull together a small collection of ideas, in a visual way. Two of the ideas I’d wanted to attempt for several years, but lacked the vision and inspiration until now. If it wasn’t for the writing I would have lacked the confidence to attempt this. Anyhow, I’m ready for a little R&R. m.
